Meet Forrest Wolfe

Alaskan Through and Through

1985

A lifelong Alaskan, Forrest was born at Providence Hospital and has lived and worked across our great state. After graduating from college, he chose to pursue public service. He worked hard. Applying his skills, he served leaders on both sides of the aisle in the State Capitol. During the summers he worked as a commercial fisherman, while evenings were often spent working in restaurants and taking graduate classes at the University of Alaska. An avid outdoorsman, Forrest relishes Anchorage’s parks and trails and the many activities our state offers. Whether fishing, hunting, hiking, camping, or snowboarding — if it involves enjoying the Alaskan outdoors, he’s up for it.

Forrest has a true passion for helping improve the lives of Alaskans. Whether on the doorsteps of East Anchorage or in the halls of the Capitol, he looks forward to meeting you and sharing his vision for our community.

Forrest first went to work in the legislature in 2013 and has worked for legislators from Anchorage, Fairbanks, and even the North Slope. It is through this work he found his true passion in serving Alaskans.

A Decade of Legislative Experience

It takes hard work and collaboration to get results in Juneau. I want to put my experience to work for you. From the halls of the Capitol to the doorsteps of East Anchorage, I know how to bring people together around solutions to issues facing Alaska. I have a true passion for helping improve the lives of Alaskans, and ideas for bringing fresh thinking to the Legislature. I want to go to work for you. Let’s enhance education, help our small business, and improve the quality of life for our district. Working together we can bring new opportunity to East Anchorage, and move Alaska forward.

Issues

Moving Alaska forward through common sense solutions

Putting Alaska First

Alaska is facing significant challenges — these aren’t Republican or Democrat issues, these are Alaskan issues. I have a true passion for helping improve the lives of Alaskans, as well ideas for bringing fresh thinking to the Legislature.

Creating Jobs

Our state has world-class natural resources that need to be developed for the maximum benefit of every Alaskan. Let’s help small businesses, revitalize our infrastructure and create jobs for our district.

Protect the PFD

I want to protect and grow Alaska’s Permanent Fund to safeguard the PFD for generations to come.

Fiscal Discipline

Alaska doesn’t have a budget deficit, we have a leadership deficit. We need to find efficiencies in government and grow state revenue through resource development, before burdening working families with new taxes.

Education

Our children are Alaska’s greatest resource. We need to provide quality education that trains young Alaskans for bright futures and Alaskan jobs.

Public Safety

I will work to enhance public safety and support solutions to Alaska’s homeless issues.
